Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) for her decision to freeze her eggs. In a post on X Sunday, Miller framed the move as a positive step for women's reproductive choices and family formation.
“If one woman wants to preserve her right to have children, which means more than having none—we should celebrate that. If she inspires other women to have babies, we should celebrate that,” Miller wrote. She added, “More women should get married and have babies younger, but too many women buy into the feminist lie and spend their childbearing years climbing the career ladder.”
Miller, who has been a vocal advocate for traditional family structures, went on to say, “When society has more babies and more young women and men are exposed to more babies, there will be more babies. Everyone’s journey to motherhood is different, just as each of us mothers differently. I can’t wait to see how motherhood changes AOC.” Her comments come amid ongoing debates within conservative circles about fertility, feminism, and the role of women in public life.
Ocasio-Cortez announced her decision on Instagram Saturday, sharing personal details about her preparations. “Usually, I keep my private life quite private, but I have made the decision to start freezing my eggs, and I want to share that with anyone who is — and I want to share this because I was weighing it for a very long time, and I think that, you know, I was saving for it for a very long time, and there just isn’t a ton out there, I feel, and sometimes it can feel very daunting,” the New York Democrat said.
In accompanying videos, Ocasio-Cortez, alongside her French Bulldog Deco, discussed the medication involved and then administered an injection, remarking afterward that it “wasn’t so bad.” Her openness about the process has been widely noted, especially given the often-private nature of fertility treatments.

In a 2020 interview with Vanity Fair, she revealed she had been considering freezing her eggs and had asked her orthodontist about her IVF experience. “I’m sitting here, I’m like, Do I freeze my eggs?
