Costco members who have been stocking up on household staples may be eligible for a rebate—provided they kept their receipts. The warehouse giant is running a promotion that rewards shoppers for buying products from Procter & Gamble, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies.

Under the offer, members who spent $200 on qualifying P&G items between Aug. 24 and Sept. 20, 2026 will receive a $60 in-store shop card. Those who spent $100 can get a $25 card. The promotion covers products in the Family + Home, Fabric, Beauty, and Health categories.

To claim the reward, shoppers must submit their original receipts online or by mail. The deadline is Oct. 31, 2026. Costco notes that receipts must be from the designated purchase window, and items costing more than $80 are excluded, as are products from Braun and SK-II.

For those who habitually toss receipts after leaving the store, Costco offers a digital alternative: log in to Costco.com, navigate to “Account,” then “Orders and Purchases,” and select the “Warehouse” tab to retrieve past in-store purchases.

The eligible brands include household names like Tide, Bounty, Charmin, Pampers, Gillette, Olay, and Crest, as well as newer additions like Native and Mielle. A full list is available on Costco’s website.

This promotion comes as retailers increasingly use targeted rebates to drive loyalty and compete for consumer spending. For Costco members, it’s a straightforward way to save, but only if they act before the October deadline.

While this deal is not tied to any political development, it arrives amid broader economic discussions about trade tensions that could affect consumer prices. Shoppers may want to keep an eye on how such policies impact their wallets.

For those who prefer to avoid the hassle, the digital receipt option is a convenient fallback. But regardless of method, the key is to submit proof of purchase before the cutoff.

Costco has not indicated whether this offer will be extended, so members should treat Oct. 31 as a firm deadline. With the holiday season approaching, a $60 shop card could come in handy for stocking up on gifts or pantry staples.
