Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who resigned from Congress in January after a public break with President Trump, is launching a new series titled “Life with MTG.” In a post on X Tuesday, Greene teased the project with a video montage of her most combative moments in politics, ending with the declaration: “I won’t stop living, I won’t stop speaking and I won’t stop fighting.”
Greene, once a staunch Trump ally, resigned in November after turning on the president over foreign policy, healthcare, and the release of files tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She described her departure as a refusal to be a “battered wife” in the relationship.
The former congresswoman has been sharply critical of Trump’s recent military actions, including the conflict with Iran. Shortly after hostilities began, she told conservative commentator Megyn Kelly: “We’re in another f---ing war, and we’ve got American troops being killed.” She questioned what had happened to the man who once denounced the Iraq war and promised “No more foreign wars.”
Greene’s new series appears aimed at maintaining her political influence outside of Congress. The teaser video includes clips from her time in office, suggesting the show will blend personal narrative with political commentary. “And neither should you,” she added in the post, urging followers to join her fight.
Her break with Trump has been one of the most dramatic shifts in Republican politics. Greene was once one of his most vocal defenders, but their split deepened as she criticized his handling of the Epstein files and his administration’s hardline stance on Iran, which she argued contradicts his earlier anti-war rhetoric.
The series announcement comes amid Trump’s ongoing battles with former allies and critics. Meanwhile, medical experts have raised concerns about Trump’s health, adding another layer of uncertainty to the political landscape. Greene’s move into media production mirrors a broader trend of politicians launching their own platforms to bypass traditional media.
It remains unclear what format “Life with MTG” will take—whether a podcast, video series, or streaming show. But given Greene’s history of incendiary statements and her ability to command attention, the series is likely to draw a significant audience among conservatives disillusioned with both Trump and the establishment.
Greene’s resignation and subsequent media pivot underscore the fragmented state of the GOP, where loyalty to Trump is no longer a given. Her series could become a rallying point for those who feel the party has lost its way, even as Trump continues to dominate the political conversation.
